Apocalype

It's tawdry the things that you find on the internet and the claims that are main, I mean they are pure urban legends. If you don't believe me, well visit http://www.snopes.com I think that halloween is a good season for gathering around the computers and telling urban legend on our web blogs that we have encountered. I will tell you a few that I have came across over the years.
Ok last year, there was a petition going around some yahoo group against some fellow in new york that was making bonzai kittens, the kittens are grown in a coca cola bottle and fed through a straw. The pictures were herrendous but false, that's the most gory thing I have ever seen. Me being a silly and niave individual, I passed the petition to everyone I knew. Then I found out from a fellow list member that it was a hoax. The pictures were so realistic, you couldn't tell truth from fiction.
Then there's the blessed "Hong Kong Devil" which is actually a "v" chip which is claimed to be put in chinese people's heads. It is said that Hong Kong Terrorists are doing it, it's a stupid hoax that people still actually believe. It starts out like this "Hong Kong Devil Kill The Hong Kong People, Dear Internet Friend......HELP! Funny! It's on http://www.snopes.com too.
Then there are those ^&(#W* Nigerian letters about someone wanting to get there old pappy out of prison and he owns a diamond mind and they want to sell you something screwy to make a few bucks. It's on the fbi website, so report any false emailings like that.
Then There is http://www.johnkerry.com that's the biggest urban legend I have seen yet, I mean come on folks, this man hasn't got a straight bone in his body, he isn't straight, look at the way he looks at John Edwards. His "running mate". :) He's a conservative queer....a black suit with purple gay pride boxers underneath LOL don't you just love my silliness. If you have any shred of dignity. Please vote for "W" november 2. :)

Tidni

I have been using a great email server called tidni.com it's a great thing to have if you have yahoo groups, msn groups or any other web server. I didn't know that tidni had more than 100mb pop3 accounts, I just made another email account with them, you can actually correspond with other tidni users. I created an additional email account for epals. If anyone reading my blog would like to coorespond. You can coorespond with me at southernbelleinmagnolia@tidni.com. I have been online pen palling since 2000 and
snail mail pen palling for over seven years. It's a great way to get to know someone and learn about different countries and different cultures. :)

Elections, Family, Ruling The World :)

I don't understand life and don't understand people, but I love them all. There are people in paticular that want to rule the nest in a household or in a family, that don't exactly where their cap straight if you know what I mean.
Manipulation is an evil thing. You can't always get what you want, and you can't always get your way, that's life. You might have a string of good luck, but soon, that good luck will run out and you will be alone again. Same with those that think they can get by with everything. All things come to a closing, I think semisonic sang it best when they sang a song called closing time. "Closing Time, Every new beginning comes from someone's beginning's end. :) LOL.
Years of manipulation doesn't come unnoticed. This comes from a silly romance novel that I just read. It's too true to life.
John Kerry's personal manipulations in the families of millions are going to come to an end when everyone finds out how honest that he is. John Kerry is a ketchup man. :) It pours out smooth and thick but it tastes like number two. I mean truly absorb what he says. Absorb what your evil arch nemesis says, they relate and compliment one another. They mean nothing. Look at the words of a simple man and you will understand and read him crystal clear. Bush is crystal clear. "Kerry-well wieners go well with ketchup." :D
Who wants to rule the world? Someone rich always, I am sorry for always downing rich people, there are good ones and there are bad ones. Power is bad. Money is bad, only if you try to accumulate more than you need and want more and try to obtain more and more. It's bad. Aint I a flake? I think not.
Charles Dickens said it best with Scrooge. Scrooge wasn't an evil man, he just cared more for his money than those who loved him and cared for him. They were concerned about him and he turned his back away. It took being freaked out by three different ghosts for him to change his nasty little tune to a cheerful and giving person.
Being giving doesn't mean giving away what you have. Time is the most precious thing that you could give anyone. Time is worth more than all the gold in the world. It took time to write this blog. It took time to grow up and realize the world doesn't revolve around you. It took time to realize who is your friend and who isn't. Time is written in the bible in lamentations. There is time for everything. Don't turn your back on those you love, spend time with them. Don't take them for granted and love them for who they are and not what they have. Whip the tar out of them if they support Kerry. :)

Blog

This is truly neat, I just started a few days ago and I have over 100 hits to my blog, how awesome. There are alot of things that's awesome in life isn't there? some things that aren't The aren't tends to outweigh the ares, but if you dwell on the aren'ts you tend to forget the ares. Is everything in life what it seems? I haven't a clue. Maybe it is and maybe it "aint" :)
I looked outside and the sceneries around these parts in fall are breathtaking. I cannot believe God created such a place around where I live. The leaves on the sweetgums are yellow, purple, red, and orange with a tenge of green, I have been meaning to take a picture, but nothing can seem to capture the beauty of the outdoors rather than the good Lord, but seriously. Digital pictures are flat images, no one can spoil the moments you spend outside in a cool alabama afternoon with the bright bursts of color and the sweet smell of mellow sassafrass.
Sassafrass won't change the fact that the Elections for president smell like a sess pool, the biggest rotten egg I have seen is John Kerry who mocks president clinton's ideas, comes up with wacky ideas about unity with the world. Bringing Sadaam Hussain in front of a world court is like saying the world is subject to no intelligence whatsoever. I go and on about this subject like a broken record I know, it's dumb his ideas is. The latest is Iraq, There were weapons found in Iraq which proves that Bush was right on the money and now Kerry claims that Bush is incompetent? I think not. It proves that the whole time that Bush was right and that kerry is wrong. Kerry's wife Theresa says Laura Bush has never had a job in her entire life. I don't think Theresa has anything running through her viens but cyanide. Mrs. Bush raised two daughters, was a librarian, and a school teacher. Mrs. Hines was hierress to a billion dollar dynasty whereas Mrs. Bush worked. I know that I am being prudent, but I am speaking my mind. I had a wonderful grandmother that I wish I was more like, she was one of the first women in her time to go to college and make a career as a school teacher. She loved the children she taught and worked hard to educate and made sure everyone had an equal amount of education. I feel that Mrs. Laura Bush is alot like my grandmother a wonderful woman who endured alot over the years.
I admire Mrs. Hines Kerry in one respect though, She doesn't care what people think about her and she speaks her mind. I wish I could be more like that ; ) I feel like somethings are meant to kept quiet and out of the public eye. It's okay to tell a friend you know in private without hurting one's feelings, but to go out in public, that's a different story.
Speaking of random thoughts, I just walked outside tonight, and there is a lunar eclipse, I wish i could have taken a picture of it. It was so wicked looked, it looked as though it was bleeding, eww and it seemed to change quickly more than any eclipse i have seen, the sky is so clear that you can see it very well with the naked eye, if my camera was able to take pics outside i would have enclosed them with this "article" :)

Unfairness

There are some things in this world that cannot be changed. Seasons may change, but they come back the same way. It's just like people, especially those that you know. One day they are nice as they can be, it's with a hidden agenda though, they always want something from you because of their kindness. One day, in College Algebra I I had this teacher, he always screamed merciously at us when we talked and made noise. One day, I had searched my purse for my money, my driver's license, my car keys, the second two were their, but all the money I had in the world was missing. It was six dollars. The money i was going to eat on and get home on. The boy behind me had stolen it because he thought I got his pencil, which i didn't all the mechanical pencils from the bookstore were the same, and just because i had a yellow mechanical pencil, it wasn't his. In the mist of the chaos, he used it as an opportunity to snatch my money, and just because I was poor and didn't have much he thought he could get away with the alaby.
Anyway, the teacher was starting class, he had some funny little evaluation forms with him. He was being extra kind almost like a male "polyanna". Usually, he would have observed the situation for common good, but he didn't. He tipped around like martha stewart and asked everyone to evaluate him, and rate him on what kind of teacher he was. Regardless of the situation I was presently going through, I gave him a good grade. I walked away from the boy behind me, I didn't fight for my money because there was no sense in it. It won't change the fact that he was a rich boy and he did what he did. Nothing changes anything someone does to you, if they are going to hurt you, you do the better thing by forgiving that person and let it go. Sometimes it's hard to let go of anything, but if you want peace in your heart and to feel free, you have to let go of that grudge.
Some grudges are seriously hard to get rid of, they say family hurts you the most. Jesus's own disciples betrayed him when a harlot called out his name and said he had been with the Christ. Jesus predicted that the rooster would crow three times before midnight when Saul would denounce him, he realized what he had done when the first crow happened and he wept. Neitherless, he couldn't forgive himself, but Jesus forgave him instantly and was crucified as a result of no one he loved protecting him. I wonder how it would feel to be in Jesus's situation and those that I loved denounced me. It can happen, this is truth which is stranger than all fiction available. These people actually lived walked foot on the earth. Jesus was human, flesh and blood and still held this incredible power, performed miracles and healed people. When Jesus died, he gave us all that same spirit, but how do we use such a gift? How do I forgive and forget those things when they still seem to haunt me. Just the seven letter word forgive saves you.
This is from my personal point of view, the way I see things, I wouldn't like anyone getting offended by what I have written. Everybody has their own set of personal beliefs and I would never try to undermind them. When I spoke of Jesus, I was reflecting what I felt. Until next time, this is Samantha signing off. :)

New Entry 10/26/04

being able to tell someone how you feel regardless of what it is , it's actually catharic, I am not actually perfect or a genius when it comes to writing but it's something that I enjoy doing. As you can tell, I cant write worth a flip, this is coming straight from the heart and that is the only thing that matters right? I thought so. Does anyone else write from their heart? I hope there are more that do than don't. Call me pollyanna, but I think if people actually spoke from their heart then it would be a more understanding place. Well in some cases it would and other cases it wouldn't. I mean if you have a black heart . No one likes a cold hearted snake am i right?
I have never met a cold hearted snake before, only met good folk with hearts some better than others. Some could use more kind words than others, and some could use a littlec constructive critcism. :) we all need a little of that from time to time :D
I didn't know what to write, so i went random on you, i hope you don't mind. It's kind of annoying when you don't know what to say. When that happens to me, I just say what comes to mind LOL.

I am a blank tonight, I have a blog at blogger.com but it's so dumb I just decided to start another one, at least on this blogging site, you can add photographs. It's really easy to maintain a blog site rather than generating html and having your site plumitted by pop up ads.
Enough about that though, my name is Samantha Taylor, I am a 29 yr old from Tallassee, Alabama. and my trade is art and writing, I hope that some day that my artwork will be seen by someone, beside passersby on the internet and someone will like it enough to appreciate and admire it. (and possibly buy it) I have a wonderful family. I love them all very much. I have troubles sometimes getting along and trying to understand them, but they care i guess. : ) I have small health related issues, but I am trying to overcome them, :) Sometimes, they overcome me but, i am not complaining, everyone has their issues.
My hobbies are pen-palling, watching television, the internet, playing around with old computers, (currently, fooling around with "openGEM", which is a small operating system that works well on top of dos with 16 colors and lots of useful tools including a web browser. I am also learning c programming for fun from notes i found on an opensource site for it proffessionals. So far, I have scripted and compiled four programs, the first one was a little program that says "hello world" and the other three were numerical programs that calculated figures. :) (aint i a nerd?)
