Clay Aiken and Barry Manalow

I don't know about you, and I don't care what anyone seems to think, but I like both Clay Aiken and Barry Manalow. Both are fantastic vocalists, and clay aiken is justa cutiepie, but have you noticed that clay looks like manalow? :) It's uncanny and their style is about the same. My favorite manalow song is made it through the rain and my favorite aiken song is invisible. :)

Personal Thoughts

My pet baby tortoise finally burried himself in the sawdust from his little aquariam. I was beginning to think that he liked cold weather. :) He's the only little reptile I have or will ever have unless I got an iguana. They are pretty nifty creatures. Snakes, well, i do like king snakes and those bright green garden snakes like we have outside. I couldn't keep snakes in the house though because my aunt is deathly afraid of snakes. My father on the other hand is terrified of mice, and you have to feed snakes live mice.
Once when i was small, we had a mouse in the bathtub. My father was shreiking like a woman standing on the commode asking someone to bring him a gun so he could harm a three inch long little mouse. pathetic :)

Holiday Havocs

Is it the holidays when everyone gets to acting afflicted? Why do you imagine anyone would want to get stuck in a chimney when you are 35 years old and have no children to play santa clause for? Isn't that just plain stupid? or leaving a turkey frier unattended and blowing up your home burning it to ashes? Why do people put their videos of their stupidities on television? The sad mistakes are made when people aren't exactly trying to be funny. It's sad when people do things that are really stupid because they know no better for instance drinking something without thinking about it, burning up their throught and their daughter having to call 911. it's incidious! :)

Good way to blow off steam

Journalling is one of the best ways to get creative and blow off steam at the same time. It's sometimes the best way toset goals and become imaginative. You can either do it by writing in a notebook, blog, online journal, even a text file or word document. Some people seem to think that writing from paper and utensil is better than eblogging because it's natural and the act of doing it is actually more catharic. I find that this type of journalling is more effective than anything else because you can share your feelings with others without having to keep them bottled up inside. Another thing i like to do this way is goal setting. I haven't set a goal in years, but I hope to start out the new year with setting goals and accomplishing them. All my new years resolutions seem to vanish in the haze as the beetles would say. :)
I guess the best thing to do with setting goals is to make small steps, little baby steps at a time that way you can cover a mile in oh maybe 10 days but at least you got there by taking your time. I think it would be helpful to everyone who can do it. There are many types of journals, artistic, voice recordings, computer documents, video journals, whatever helps do it.

The Power Of Positive thinking

Many years ago, norman vincent peale wrote an excellent book on self esteem called the power of positive thinking which is not just for christian business people but for everyone who wants to have a better view of themselves. Once when i was young and my mother watched Donahue. A copy was given to my mother and it's been in our books every sense. From time to time, i still pick it off of the bookshelf and read it, but I don't understand how to create a better sense of self. I try my darnedest every day to make a difference. I feel though as though my worth is very little. Then i think of all the roles i have to do on a daily basis and i can't figure out how i do things but they get done. I know there's someone up from heaven smiling down on me and looking out for me and I thank him for helping me to continue each day at the rate i am going.

It looks like a beautiful night outside. The stars are so bright and the moon is big and round. Usually when I see the moon it's at a cresent. It's beautiful. The cold air outside is nice too, reminds me of winter already. :) We are still in fall of the year. this weekend we are supposed to have stormy wheather. I hope it brings more cold temps here in the south. I love cold weather.

Morning Blues

Have you ever slept so hard that you wake up with n ice cream headache? Have you ever had dreams that don't make any sense. I have and it's pretty annoying. Sometimes you can pretty much determine a meaning through symbols that you have in your dreams. Being in college and not knowing your way around and jude law tries to help you, what does that mean? :)

another online novel

I just got through writing another online novel this one is about an old man that thinks he's buying one 486 from ebay then he finds he buys a whole lot of over 50 486's from ebay and he cannot get rid of them. It's impossible for him to get rid of him, some nuns become furious with him, he is afraid that the garbage people won't even pick them up so he
keeps them, gives a few away to the next door neighbor, installs dos and win 3 on them and then when he plays the if game out of dos called alice in wonderland he finds ctrl alt del doesn't work with win 3 so he restarts the machine and when he does, he finds all the computers come on and say hi steve which is his name.

strange omelette

I love eating omelets the best time to eat one is at night. Of course, i hadn't one tonight, but here's what i wish that i had had. Once i didn't have anything else in the house but an onion, an egg, and some roast beef from the deli. I took the eggs and roast beef and purple onion and made an omelette out of it. It was excellent. Sometimes the strangest things make the best meal. :)

Purple Onion

Purple onions are not just for salads, they are good for stir fried vegatables and anything else you are trying to cook. I used them to smother porkchops with. The flavor was fantastic and a plus they are high in fiber
