Cold wind

Last night the wind was roaring and I was freezing myself off. :) I am freezing now. :) gotta go. :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Nah! Just kidding, blogging has became more popular than ever and blogging is alot of fun and has become something useful for businesses, small business owners, friends and those who keep in touch. I think that it is fun to blog and hope to continue doing so for as long as I live :D

Computers

Don't you remember the tandy trs-180? It was a cool computer, but not worth todays standards, and it would not do well with anyone today because they would want the newest and the most expensive thing. :) I don't . I just want to be happy. I have 2 486 laptops, and this gateway with a bad block on the hard drive, and i am happy because it's paid for and it's mine. :) I hope to get a better hard drive some day, and hopefully it wont cost that much to get a 10 gig hard drive. That way, I have plenty of hard drive space. It's not expensive, you can buy one used. Buy money ugh! I sound like something i don't like. :( hmm....

The Benefit Of Prayer

ISAIAH 40:31 NKJ
31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and
not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Most people look at prayer only as asking God for things. If
that defines your prayer life, you are really missing out.

Prayer is communication with God -- the greatest privilege on
earth.

Prayer is visiting with God. It can include asking for things,
but is primarily spending time in God's presence, soaking up
His life, His wisdom, and His strength.

Isaiah reveals an important truth to us: those who spend time
with God get new strength. Literally, they exchange strength
with Him. When we spend time with God He somehow takes away our
weakness and replaces it with His strength. What a deal!

As we spend time focused on God, in His presence, we are also
changed into His likeness.

2 CORINTHIANS 3:18 NKJ
18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the
glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image...

So, if you need more strength to face life, if you want to be
more like God, or if you want to develop a closer relationship
with the most amazing Being in the universe -- prayer is your
answer.

Don't worry about knowing the right words or being formal. Just
talk to God as you would to a well-respected friend.

SAY THIS: Excuse me, I think I'll visit with God.

Reiki

Reiki is a sort of form of japanese healing. Good thing that it is secular so it's safe to learn in Christianity. :) I am going to try to learn it so that i can help myself with fibromyalgia. I didn't know what this was til 1 year ago, but i have suffered with it for i know four years, at first, i thought it was arthritis, then i read this book and seen television articles on it and found more interesting information on it. Then i find more information on it. :) so hopefully it will help with the pain and the depression. I try to write happy thoughts because i think not only it helps me to master my feelings, but i also think that it is helpful to others to be happy and to try to have a carefree presence. Everybody battles their own illnesses, sometimes mine completely takes over and it's hard to grip it. I hope the reiki helps out. ;) i will post how it works.

cover girl and revlon

Revlon and covergirl have taken on an interesting advertising campaign. :) Funny thing! :) It's really cool. Have you noticed famous faces that you see that aren't exactly beautiful on the outside, but with the cosmetics it makes them beautiful. Look at these ads closely. They have more substance than you would expect. There is someone that I greatly admire on the cover girl ads. Her name: queen Latifah! :) She is a multi talented confident strong woman. She might not be a goddess or extremely beautiful, but what she stands for and what she is on the inside breaks all the rules of beauty. See if you have that, you have something! Talent, heart, and the joy of entertaining people. That's what i call beauty. Susan Surrandon is has played the matriarch in so many films and an alien matriarch. :) That's beauty to be able to be strong and confident, Then Julianne Moore has a sort of quiet confidence and able to solve any mystery whatsoever. Think of all the struggles these ladies went through to get where they have been put, they didn't judge or attack. They went with the flow worked hard and against all odds they perservered through it all to get where they are today and I think that is beauty .
Whenever someone sends out a personal attack or an insult to someone else, they are only harming themselves. You can't hurt someone else without bringing yourself down. Don't ever let anyone think that you aren't beautiful. I know i am not. I am beautiful.

Give me a break!

I watched this show, and sweet nostalgia of childhood popped up in my head. :) I remembered watching it as a child and really loved it. :) Nail Carter came right here from Montgomery Alabama and was a real star, she died before her time. She will be greatly missed. Come to think about it, so many stars come from Alabama, nat king cole, Lionel Richie, Courtney Cox Arquette, and Ruben Studdard!!!!!!!

Cold Rain

Today it's cold enough it's about 40 or 50 degrees fairenheit after this rain, it's supposed to turn off colder than before and it's going to be bone chilling cold for anyone who lives in alabama. :( All we need is to freeze. Maybe i have a polar fleece sweater somewhere :)

Terrorist issue again

This is more scary than sponge bob. :( For crying out loud there are people in our country with radioactive material and they can't find them. They slipped through our borders. How did it happen and how can we stop it. I imagine our homeland security is working very hard to take these people down. Please get them.
