The Thousand Calorie Plan :)

I started this yesterday, but I think i will post this here since this is my main blog, i wonder to myself sometimes why i have more than one blog, I should just use this blog to post all my thoughts, today on this diet i didn't do so good, but there is always tommorrow. I did however use the dumb bells my mother gave me. I want to build my upper body so my chest area will look better. I am also doing other types of exercise as well as this. I have been doing it for awhile since i have fibromyalgia. It's something you have to exercise to be able to live with. I am hoping maybe to become more occupied outside physically. It's an annoyance more than anything else. I wil repeat myself that i have used this diet before. :) Years ago and lost down to 115-125 pounds. I actually had a great curvy figure, now i look in the mirror and frown i don't look like the same person i used to be. :) some aspects, my face looks alot better, but i need alot of work. :) Plan on working on it wisely. :) I was considering br surgery.....that's to be continued. :)

The Thousand Calorie Plan

Topic: weight loss plan
I found this diet online, and I hope they don't mind me using it to help me to lose weight. I went on the exact plan in the nineties as a teenager and lost a ton of weight and kept it off for a year or so. I hope that i can do the same way again. :) Wish me luck :) It's easy to count calories this way. :) for instance in the morning a piece of toast 70 w/0 butter bacon 70 calories and an egg 70 that's a 210 calorie breakfast. See how easy it is? As long as you can abide by 1000 limitations without cheating, you can lose up to 4 pounds a week and eat most anything as long as you are in the 1000 calories a day range and make sure you exercise every day. :) 1000 Calorie Diet Menu Cutting back to 1000 calories a day is pretty drastic, and should only be used if you just want to lose a few pounds quickly, or feel the need to kick-start a longer term weight loss plan. Our 1000 Calorie Diet Menu sample packs in as much good nutrition as possible whilst trying to keep it simple, tasty and realistic. Even so, it's not a good idea to stick to such dramatic calorie restriction for more than a week. Not just because you'll be short of essential nutrients, but on a diet of just 1000 calories a day - your body will be convinced it's in the middle of a famine if you keep it up for long. This means it will slow down, in order to hold on to every calorie for as long as possible... not helpful when what you really want when you're trying to lose weight is a lively, active body burning up the calories as fast as possible. That's why health professionals recommend aiming for a weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week, and keeping active when you're on a diet - pushing your body into starvation mode is counterproductive. You can find out how many calories you need to lose weight at your chosen rate by taking a free trial of the Weight Loss Resources interactive tools. 1000 Calorie Diet Sample Menu Printable version Drinks throughout the day can include water, black tea and/or coffee without sugar and negligible calorie carbonated drinks such as Diet Coke. This menu provides 1000 calories, 60g protein, 145g carbohydrate, 21g fat. Breakfast Banana sandwich made with 2 small slices of wholemeal bread and a small banana. 200ml glass of orange juice Morning Snack 100g pot of low fat fruit yoghurt Lunch 1 wholemeal roll (45g) filled with 70g tuna (canned in brine) and 10g reduced calorie mayonnaise Mixed salad of 50g lettuce, 50g red or yellow sweet peppers, 10g spring onions. Afternoon Snack 28g bag of lower fat crisps (eg. Walkers Lites) Dinner 70g Roast Chicken breast (without skin) 80g Potatoes, mashed with 30ml semi-skimmed milk 60g Broccoli, steamed or boiled 50g Carrots, boiled 100ml Gravy (made from granules) Evening 1 serving of low calorie Hot Chocolate Drink made with powder and water (eg. Cadbury's Highlights) Women will lose 2-4 lbs in a week, men 3-5 lbs in a week, depending on start weight and activity level. It is not recommended that calories be so restricted for more than one week - for most people this level of calories is too low to obtain enough nutrition, and may have the effect of slowing metabolism. To find out how many calories you need to lose weight at your chosen rate, and how many calories in different foods and drinks, log on to www.weightlossresources.co.uk and take a free trial.

PBS special for viewers like you

Have you seen the alone in the wilderness special? :) It's very very very interesting. For a southerner living in the partial wilderness, I have to say that this man is a nut. Okay this man virually took down one very very large tree to make 1 large wooden spoon, he follows male moose around and carrabou. wierd, not to mention everytime someone brings him groceries and supplies theres never any toilet paper yet, yet this man had a whole mess of butterbeans to cook look like the man would have toilet paper, wonder what he did to wipe his behind with? Did he just chop down a tree to wipe it? It solved everything else :) LOL

What is this world coming 2?

I woke up this morning and saw the news, it's funny how high profile celebrities are making fun of other hi profile celebrities. Btw...Don't talk about Rush...He's a good man! Love his blog and his radio show. I don't agree with the new social security plan...too many pipe dreams in the making. I don't think social security is going anywhere. I love president bush with all my heart, but I gotta say no to this . I agree with him on alot of things, like the sanctity of marriage and securing the country from coward idiots who want to kill for no reason. :( There's just alot of things now that need to be straightened out by someone in the Conservative group that has a better understanding of what's going on. Lots of smart democrats with conservative values that could help out that situation too. What if push comes to shove and the social security stock idea comes into affect and we have another recession and crash in the stock market? Not pretty especially when i turn 80. :( So what's a person to do...I say look a little bit further into it, you know make some notes, come up with a different hypothesis besides this.

a corny way of torturing terrorists :)

I saw this news flick this morning, don't know whether it was a corny attempt on Russell crow's part or an actual threat to him, but this morning on the news, there was a flic about the gorgeous Russel Crowe talking about Al-cowarda's attempt to kidnap the actor to "traumatize" Americans. Anyway, continuing to watch the news I saw several segments followed by a corny commercial, and I said to myself, hey what an idea. :( I hope karma doesn't apply to my idea >:) but freakin funny :) We could capture members of alqueda, put them into a cell with Michael Jackson and Gilbert Godfrey singing along with Kathy Lee singing and videos of the partridge family and the brady bunch along with the tv evangelist Jim Baker's new television show. THey won't know what hit them :) :) :) :) :)

sanctuary

Where do you find santuary? The sancity of having enough brains to complete a sentence without studdering words. Or yet it could mean, a huge brain fart waiting to happen :) What do you do then, do you say....santuary! or calgon take me away, become mad at the world, fret obnoxiously or do all four. Sometimes i do all four sometimes at the same time. I keep to myself most of the time, sometimes i take a walk, write on z old computer. This blog is a great sense of relief for me. Not my santuary. :) Its where sometimes i express my insanity :) hee hee. :) sometimes it's fun to say things to catch people's attention, sometimes it's fun to look back and catch my own attention. Not sanctuary. Santuary for me is quiet time alone sometimes with my thoughts or meditations. If I don't get meditation, prayer or something every day I become moldy in my thoughts :) :) :) If you find sanctuary in your heart you will have such overflowing peace in your hear and you don't need the things that once hindered you. :) i still crave the upmost sanctuary.

An question?

Can i post my diet stuff on my blog? It's just to keep up with it. :) Love you

Tonsils

My little niece called this afternoon and asked about my tonsils being taken out and then it hit me the memories i had. I haven't been able to recall alot of things in my childhood, but I remember my tonsils being taken out. I woke up during surgery, but i don't remember feeling anything. The doctor said that i had enlarged adnoids. Which is the little dangling ball looking things in the back of your mouth. Of course my throat was sore awhile, and I couldn't speak for a week, but the ice cream was good after surgery. :) Plain vanilla. Wish it had been rocky road, or heaven;y hash. Anyway, I was five. I could sing before the tonsils was taken out, now i just sound like a sea gull wah wah wah. :) :) But anyway the little fellow had said that she was going to have to have her tonsils taken out, and when my mom called her back. My big sis said she wasn't going to have them taken out? Go figure :) I hope they will all get better soon.
